Questions From My Nominator

1. When did you fall in love with reading? As soon as I could read. I was the kid in elementary school during our 'Read 100 Books' challenge that read close to 1,000 books. I couldn't get enough. I loved that people could make up whatever they wanted and other people would want to read it. And not just read it, but enjoy it. It made them happy. Stories made people happy. I just loved that.

2. Which book almost turned you off to reading? I can't think of an exact title. There were several YA books I read in a row and I was just like, 'Really?' I got frustrated with the genre for awhile. Don't worry; I'm in love again.

3. Whose your favorite band or singer? Hanson and Breaking Benjamin are tied.

4: When is the last time you fell in love and how did it happen? I'm in the process of it now. Love, especially falling in love, is not one thing I want to rush. It's such a big deal to me, I just want to really know. I want to be sure.

5. What’s the one thing you can’t live without and why? I'm going to be a total cliche and say my phone. It's my main form of communication with so many people and I have a lot of my work and photos on it. It's on me constantly and I dig the technology.

6: What’s the best and worst part about blogging? The best part is being able to post whatever I want. Freedom of speech and whatnot. The worst part is coming up with topics and not being able to gain a following.

7. If you can lecture one character from a book who would it be and what would you tell them? I'm currently wrapped up in my own novel at the moment, so I'm just going to say my character Lot. I'd tell him to stop being a jerk and tell people how he feels. It'll be okay. He just has to believe in himself.

8. What’s your best and worst trait? My best I think is that I'm dependable. I hear that frequently. I'm just the kind of person that sticks to their word. My worst is definitely my trust issues.

9. If your life was a reality show what would the title be? Southern Hell. Instead of Southern Belle, get it? I just don't belong in the South.

10. If you could go to dinner with anyone famous who would it be? Betty White.

11. Name three book titles, without thinking of the stories themselves, that describe your life right now? Sleepy Hollow, Into the Wild, Letting Go.

1) I sometimes want to eat my weight in jelly beans.

2) I have a citrus allergy.

3) I love to sing. Just never in front of people. My car loves it though.

4) I have a total girl crush on Jennifer Lawrence and Amanda Seyfried.

5) I want to own a Great Dane.

6) I think herds of miniature horses are one of the funniest sights ever.

7) I'm scared to try Indian food.

8) I don't trust myself with cash.

9) Violins are one of my favorite sounds.

10) I once forgot how to spell 'this' and actually Google'd it.

11) I love hand writing things. Even the grocery list is cool.
